Bison return, Banff National Park.

Five plains bison charge out of a beige shipping container in a snow-covered meadow, racing to explore their new home. The bison were released into a remote area of Banff National Park, Alberta in early 2017. After an absence of over a century, the return of wild plains bison to the Banff landscape is of great historic, ecological and cultural significance.
